A:  It does not have a drainage hole which was disappointing but I had my husband drill a hole in the bottom which works perfectly for drainage.

A:  You can easily drill holes into the bottom of the planter. Just follow the suggested markings and use a 1/2-inch drill bit. Please drill slowly to avoid cracking the planter.

A:  The Decatur planter will work well for storing a patio hose. You may want to consider drilling drainage holes in the bottom to prevent water from accumulating in the bottom of the planter.

A:  The 22 inch Decatur planter holds about 4.5 cubic feet of soil. To save on soil and reduce weight, some customers have added empty bottles in the bottom.
