A:  Dave, thank you for your question. Minimum Required Clearance Heights for Installation: For Shower: 73.5 Inches (186.7 cm), For Tub: 61.75 Inches (157 cm).     Q:I purchased a delta 500 48 x 34 shower pan and surround. I purchased the 48 x 60 track is that it would be cut down to less than 48 to accommodate that shower.

      A:  You only cut the top and bottom rail don't cut these rails to the same size the top rail maybe longer than the bottom rail the side rails are the height of the glass panels you do not cut these

        A:  No. You can cut the with of the track. For the height, there are two types of these doors: the tub and stand up shower. You pick the one you need, and place it accordingly to the height of the door.

          A:  There’s two types of  kits: one for shower/tub combos that fit the shorter glass panels and one for walk in showers that fit the taller glass panels. The height shouldn’t have to be cut just the bottom and top track.

              Q:Looking for a couple of actual dimensions... The wall mounted bars look to be about .750x.750 inches .. is that correct? ... also looking for the actual width of the bottom track and the width of the track at the plastic guide ... Thanks

              A:  Hi I have 3 of these doors: The side rails are 3/4 inch (.75) The bottom rail is track is 1” 3/4 (1.75) and the plastic guide siting on top of the bottom rail makes a total of 2 1/4 inches (2.25)

                A:  TomA, H33, Thank you for your question on the Delta 48 to 60 in. Contemporary Sliding Shower Door Track Assembly Kit in Nickel. The wall jambs are 7/8 of an inch and bottom track is 2 inches and with guide attached, total measurement is 2-3/4 inches.--Best, Customer Care Team

                  A:  Side rails 5/8" x 5/8". Bottom rail 1-3/4" with 3/4" outside lip. 2-1/4" at guide. Width at bottom rail to edge of side rail 2-1/4". So from inside plastic guide to outside of side rail 2-3/4". Hope that helps
