Q:Does this have any way to limit the amount of hot water that can come through this? I would like my sink to not get so hot without turning downy water heater

Answer This Question
A: You can solve this issue by putting a small mixing valve under the sink.

A: Hi Kristen!
Thank you for contacting us at Delta Faucet! I will be happy to help. The only way would be to close the hot shut off valve under the sink. This will lower the amount of hot water allowed into the mix.

Tim

Q:If the supply hoses are not long enough for my project, can they be removed and replaced? Or am i able to use a short extension hose?

Answer This Question
A: Thank you for your question, Loriborealis! The Flex Supplies included with this model are not removable and doing so will damage the product and void the warranty. Extension hoses designed for use with 3/8” Compression Fittings could be used however.

A: I just measured the one I installed a few months ago. Without the base plate (aka escutcheon) the faucet base is a 1.7" x 2" oval. Too small for your purpose. However, it may work if you have enough room to install the faucet with the oval base plate, which is included and measures 2.6" x6". Detailed measurements can be found on the specification sheet pdf that is listed under the product description.

A: Thank you for your question, Joan92019. In a single hole installation, the base is 1 7/8" wide. The 3-hole base plate is 2 9/16" x 6 1/8". Here is a link to the Technical Specifications for more information:

Q:Does this come with supply lines?
by|Jan 17, 2019

Answer This Question
A: Yes, they hook under the vanity
by|Jan 18, 2019
A: No. Your installation might require different lengths than supplied (and perhaps a different length for hot than cold). You’d be wise to buy the upgraded stainless steel braid-covered lines anyway. Much less likely to burst when you’re away on vacation (remember, that leak continues until you manually shut off the valve!).

A: No it does not.

A: I purchased this awhile ago, but yes, I believe it did come with supply lines. Depending on what you have going on under the sink, however, you may need to buy an extension to reach the connecting water terminals. If I recall correctly, I had to do this and the distance from the sink to the on/off valves was longer than the supplied lines.
