      Answer This Question

A:  Dyco Shield & Seal was formulated for natural stone and Dyco Paver Sealer was formulated for concrete surfaces. While they are optimized for those surfaces, they can both be used on natural stone or concrete products. Shield & Seal has a slight amber tone. For preparation and application information, please see the Technical Data Sheet (TDS) on the product page of DycoPaints.com. All the best with your project!

                      Answer This Question

A:  I don't know the UV, but I live in Sunny South Florida and used this product pouring and mixing with chattahoochee about three inches thick on dry days and it's now been about two years and no problem.

                      by|May 30, 2020

A:  Thanks for your question. While we don't apply UV ratings to masonry coatings, as a urethane, Dyco Shield & Seal does offer good UV resistance. For more information including preparation and application information, please refer to the Use & Care Manual (Technical Data Sheet or TDS) on the product page of homedepot.com under PRODUCT OVERVIEW - INFO & GUIDES.
