Q:Can this duct be cut to something shorter than 8'?

Answer This Question

A:  Yes it may but its nit necessary. The duct can be estended to the required length and then provided it is installed according to the install video, the duct will work the same as if it was cut to length.

    Q:Can I use these in place of flexible ducts for general HVAC duct work moving hot or cold air from a furnace/AC in a single family home? (I do NOT need insulated ; install location can't do full rigid).

    A:  Yes you may up to lengths of 14 ft as this duct is listed as a UL 181 air connector.

      Q:Is this acceptable as a range hood exhaust? Would be used to connect the hood duct to a 6 inch galvanized rigid duct venting outside. Thanks,
