Q:We live in a modular home in the country, and we don’t have a garbage disposal or a way to install one, notice that it said it doesn’t need to have one. But being in the country and on a well, would this work that’s not set up for anything like that?

Answer This Question
A: Hello Jenny,
You can certainly use the unit without a garbage disposal, but it's essential to have a Sink Strainer in place to prevent solid particles from entering the drain.
Regarding the well water source, the unit is compatible, but it's important to note that limescale may accumulate more quickly compared to tap water. Additionally, please ensure that the water pressure meets the requirement of 145.04 psi for optimal performance.

Q:When the dishwasher is not in use, can that side function as a regular drain? Also, since it doesn't have a disposal option, how are food pieces kept from going down the drain? Is there a drain basket?

Q:What type of soap do you recommend and where does it go? Is the lid shatterproof?
by|Nov 3, 2023
1 Answer
Answer This Question
A: Hello Joyce,
You can use any dishwasher-safe soap in any part of the dishwasher. As for the lid, it's constructed from tempered glass, providing greater resistance to force. However, we recommend avoiding heavy chopping on top of the lid.

Q:The installation manual indicates to use cold water supply only because hot water will affect the produce cleaning function for fruits and vegetables. If I got the smaller 2in1 model that doesn't have the produce cleaning feature, would it be okay to use

Answer This Question
A: Hello Lynt,
You have the option to connect hot water to the sink faucet; however, it's important to understand that the dishwasher should exclusively be connected to a cold water supply. This is because our dishwasher features a heating element that will efficiently heat the water to the required temperature during the wash cycle.
Thank you,
