Q:My current bathroom wall heater is an FXL3004B model. It appears that model number is no longer available. Is this model the same size as the other? I really don't want to mess up the tiled wall making a bigger hole. The dimension sizes listed are slightly bigger so I'm assuming this is dimensions with the grill in place?

A: Since it is on the wall rather than in the wall you might be able to put some soft foam washers in between the great and the heater that should silence it

Mine was installed inside the wall

A: Either way. I have purchased several for my rentals and they are mounted different in each units because the electrician was different who did then. In the wall looks better with a thin trim around the edge. But both way is functional and does take up space.
