Q:What is the largest size propane rank this will unit accommodate? Also, is there a glass protector that can fit around the fire/flames that can be purchased that will fit this unit?

Answer This Question
A: Hi Jenny - this unit uses a standard 20-lb propane tank. A larger tank will not fit in the tank bracket underneath the table. Fire Sense does manufacture a round wind guard compatible with this fire pit, but it is not currently available on the Home Depot website.

Answer This Question
A: Hello - yes, this unit can be used under a roof such as a porch/covered patio with adequate ventilation. The required overhead clearance is 6', so including the height of the table you will need a minimum 8' ceiling.

Q:Can this unit be covered and left outdoors in cold winter temperatures?
by|Jul 10, 2021

Answer This Question
A: For greatest longevity, it is recommended to store the fire pit table indoors when seasonally out of use. However, as long as the LPG tank is disconnected and properly stored, there is no reason that normal winter temperatures alone should affect the appliance, provided that the unit is kept dry. If you anticipate especially wet conditions for a prolonged period, you can also store just the burner pan indoors (it's a drop-in style, so no major disassembly required). Please note that prolonged exposure to cold temperatures can accelerate battery drain, so the igniter battery may need to be replaced more frequently than in warmer temps.

A: Hi Concerned,
Thank you for your recent inquiry with The Home Depot.
Unfortunately it doesn't come with it or require it. But we do have a wide variety of fire stones to choose from on our website. It would depend on what your choice is.
We appreciate your business and look forward to serving you in the future.

A: Yes, but they are the glass bead type (which is nicer than lava rock because they don't hold moisture). I purchased additional fire glass to add another color, and to top it off a bit. The fie glass with the kit is a bit shy of being enough in my opinion. Cost was under $20.

Answer This Question
A: Comes with Fire Glass ... the little oblong marble looking type.
I purchased more to fill it in, the amount in the kit was a little shy of what looks good, in my opinion.

A: The unit arrives with clear fire glass pebbles to fill the burner bowl. You can safely substitute any approved fire glass or lava rock type fire pit filler.
