A: I have used mine for several years, and have had no problem cutting larger branches, not sure how big but i’d say it is likely 1 5/8 in. But possible to cut larger ones. It is very good quality and has served me well!
A: It has a 1 5/8" cut capacity definitely
A: It is more than 5/8s of an inch, so I would assume it is the 1 5/8 in.
A: Thank you for contacting Fiskars. This lopper has a 1-5/8" cut capacity.
A: 5/8 is the recommended cutting size of branches , although I have cut larger with no problems. The Jaws fully open is about 1 5/8.

A: Did you try contacting fiskars itself?
A: The tool has a lifetime warranty, so I would try contacting the factory for replacement blades.

A: You need to visit your Home Depot Store with the broke 28in power Lever Bypass Lopper and they are supposed to replace it with another, it has a lifetime guarantee.
A: Check with Home Depot.
A: I would try taking them back to the Home Depot first

A: It doesn't unscrew, you just spread the lever arms apart and the cutting jaws open up.
A: I've been using mine for many months, and have never had to unscrew anything to use it. The levers don't extend, to my knowledge, and I can't imagine anything else on the lopper that you would imagine might 'unscrew.'
A: Thank you for contacting Fiskars, we would be happy to assist. Please contact our customer service team at 866-348-5661 M-F 8-4:30 CST.
A: Hi i'm not sure what you would need to unscrew. could you give me some more details? ;)
A: With a pair of pliers.
A: Yes.
A: yes
A: yes for smaller branches
A: Thank you for contacting Fiskars. This lopper is designed to be on tree branches, up to 1 3/4" in diameter.
A: Yes.
A: I used it on branches about an one inch thick
A: Yes. But I haven't tried them on anything, except a rose bush.
A: Yes, up to 1.5 inches or so in diameter.
A: With some limitations, Yes. The limitations are the size of the branch, and your arm strength. I have 2 pair. One is used for trimming branches of up to 2 inches or so. The other is used for cutting roots. Just like a chain saw, cutting through sand/earth covered wood dull them fairly quickly so I keep one set to make nice clean cuts above the ground, while the things I cut "in the dirt" tend to be not quite so neat. Hope this helps answer your question
A: Yes, and they're designed to handle up to 1 3/4" diameter branches. Mine work great!
