A:  Mia, thanks for taking the pic but that is 3/4" not 3/8"! But it let me know what the actual size is which I was trying to find out. This one holds more weight (20 lb.) than the the one in the store (15 lb.) which is only 5/8".

A:  I don't know the length, but they have three different lengths available. I cut to size.

A:  This 24" replacement bar will fit. Just be very careful that you don't over-trim it. The instructions that come with the replacement bar mistakenly say to cut the replacement bar to a length 1/8” less than the distance between your mounts – in your case, that would be 22 and 7/8”. DON’T do it! You should cut the bar to no shorter than 23 ½ “.

A:  Yes. You can use a hacksaw to shorten it to your proper length. Spring ends are easy to remove to allow for shortening.

A:  You have to cut it to fit with a hacksaw. Easy.

A:  The spring loaded end caps are 1/2" square. The bar is 3/4" square.

A:  It states spring loaded in the product description, so my educated guess is yes.

A:  It's not telescopic; rather, it has a spring-expanded in each end that allows you to cut the replacement bar slightly longer than the space between the existing ceramic end-brackets, so that it will rest properly in the brackets. Just make sure that you don't cut the replacement bar too short (which you could easily do if you follow the printed instructions literally).

A:  It has spring loaded end caps to allow for easy installation between fixed ceramic ends.

A:  Yes. its 24" but you have to cut a bit off the end for the spring tips to fit into the slot. I think I took about 1/2" off but use your judgement.
