After installation, have the electrician show you where your main cooktop disconnect is located. A:  So with the answer I received I figured all was well. So after getting the unit and taking it out of the box, the wire was maybe 40 inches if lucky. A far cry from 5 feet. I guess that is why the word approximately was inserted. So I ended up having to move the junction box.
