Q:Can you install a water filter on the faucet?

      Answer This Question

A:  I really don’t know but Home Depot can advise you on any questions you may have.

A:  That would pretty much ruin the aesthetic of the design. I installed this in Montgomery County, Maryland, where we have excellent water quality, including taste, and it does not require additional filtration. For those reasons, the ability to add a filter to the faucet was not a consideration. You could install a water filter on the cold water line under your sink, if necessary, but that is true for any kitchen. You can check with the manufacturer for more specifics.

Q:I have two questions here : 1) Is the matte gold color has a surface coating of lacquer? 2) If I were to only have 1 source of water (no hot, just cold) May I still use this bridge faucet? So I will get 2 cold water from both handles

              Answer This Question

A:  The finish has a protective coating, if you hook up cold water only to both outlets you will only get cold water. Mike

              by|Apr 14, 2020

A:  I would think you could do that. There is a separate line for the hot and cold, so if you had two cold water feeds, I would think you could do it that way.

                Answer This Question

A:  The spayer hose is black braided material. There is not a weight but the sprayer is really heavy metal. No worries about staying in place. Tom/Journeyman Plumber.

A:  Braided hose, not sure about a weight

                by|Apr 8, 2020

Q:We just installed this beautiful faucet today & the sprayer has water pressure but once you turn the hot & cold on there is barely any pressure? Is it the faucet? Should we return it?

                    Answer This Question

A:  It's not the faucet. It's probably your water pressure. I know this because my prior sprayer did what yours is doing. I had my plumbing reviewed and upgraded when I installed the new faucet. It works great.

                    by|Jan 15, 2021

A:  I would return it because there should be plenty of pressure.

A:  Yes, I don't live there anymore but I believe it is a male end as most faucets have. That us where the aerator is.
