Q:I'm looking for storage over my washer. What is the inside width of the frame? I saw the height from the floor to the bottom shelf and I will be ok with that. Any additional info will be appreciated. Thank you.

A: Hi LinMarie, thanks for asking about the Glacier Bay Slat Style Over-the-Toilet Storage! The slats on each shelf come attached (you do not have to assemble each individual slat), so they do lay evenly. If you'd like to take a look at the Installation Guide to learn more about the parts and assembly process, it's linked under "Info & Guides" about a third of the way down the Home Depot website page. We hope this helps, thanks!

Q:how do you anchor this to the wall? TIA

Answer This Question
A: I couldn’t anchor mine to the wall, because said wall is tile and mirror, so I used damage-free 3M Command Strips to secure it.

A: Anchors and screws are supplied. I needed some longer screws, and a couple of spacers between the shelves and the wall since my baseboards keep the unit about a half inch from the wall. You could use other anchors if you prefer. Screwing it to the wall was a little tricky because of the position of the holes; you need a short handle #2 philips. A compact or angled drill motor would be great.
Once anchored, the unit is very solid, it doesn't budge.

A: Hi KT, thanks for asking about the Glacier Bay Slat Style Space Saver! To mount this unit, first make sure the assembly is level. If not, adjust the feet (Part DD in Instruction Guide) as needed. Next, mark the mounting points on your wall through the holes in the rear tubes of the unit. Hammer the wall anchors (Part FF) into the wall, unless the mounting screws (Part EE) will go directly into a stud (if this is the case, no wall anchors are needed). Place the unit against the wall, lining up the wall anchors (Part FF) and holes in the rear tubes. Finally, tighten the mounting screws (Part EE) into studs or wall anchors (Part FF). To learn more about assembly and installation, please feel free to take a look at the space saver's Instruction Guide which is linked about a third of the way down the product's Home Depot website page under the "Info & Guides" section. If you have any additional questions or concerns, please reach out to the manufacturer's U.S.-based Customer Service department by calling 800-892-3986. We hope this helps, thanks!

A: My wall has paneling backed by plywood so I just use a couple of short wood screws. The kit comes with 2 drywall anchors and 2 screws . The back legs have a whole under the middle shelf both sides.

A: There are holes in the middle top portion of the frame that butts up against the wall to either use screw, if in a stud, or molly screws if not that secure it and anchor it to the wall. Also, the bottom back bar goes behind the commode so it also secures it,
