A:  Yes, however, this fixture does not come with bulbs, so it depends what kind of bulbs you put in. We would suggest a bulb with high Lumens to help light up more of the room, and 5000Kelvin for a bright white light. If you are looking for more of a warm orange type of light, you may want to look at 2200-2700Kelvin. The cord is also adjustable so you can hang them higher or lower as needed to spread out the light.

A:  I have had my lamps installed in a covered porch for 3 years and never had any problems with moisture. I had these lights installed in new construction of the covered porch by a licensed electrician, who never raised any issues about damp rating.
