A:  I do not know its weight,but definitely it is light weight, it is not like those pans that will break your back..please ask Gotham corp 888---326--0978 tell them to put its weight on this product on the advertisement on homedepot website and at the package of this item.Also beware its handle gets hot,it does not stay cool while cooking with it as they advertise,other than that I have been using it for around 3 weeks,it seems good so far...

A:  The 10" skillet weighs 1 3/4 lbs. - with lid on it, the weight is 3 lbs.

A:  You are cooking at too high heat; this pan does not need to be set on anything higher than medium and I promise you the results will improve!

A:  I would guess it would work in the oven without issue. Handle is metal so that is not a problem. I may not want to put it under the broiler.
