Questions and Answers for Graco Whip 3/16 in. x 4 ft. Airless Hose

A:  Wife Uncle had a magnum xr7 sprayer. used with a 519 spray head (they had a chart there too) and premium plus satin behr outdoor paint which has the primer. nothing was restricted as far as paint flow. you do use more paint spraying and i generally stayed between 6 to 8 inches away. also used the metal extension which i think is about 3 ish feet long. used about 15 gallons on a 1650sq ft home which included spraying the eves.

A:  Hello, Thank you for your question about using the Whip 3/16 in. x 4 ft. Airless Hose with a Magnum X7 Airless Paint Sprayer. When spraying primer, I wouldn’t recommend using this whip hose. It could cause restriction or clog within the hose. If you were spraying a top coat, a whip would work well. A:  Yes, it will work fine. I have the same sprayer and it works without difficulty. Those are standard connections throughout the industry so they will work with any brand, not just Graco. that uses the same size hose. I'm using a 20" extension in that photo.
