A:  Thank you for your question. "Distressed" refers to either authentically weathered flooring, or flooring artificially given an appearance that mimics the natural aging process of wood. Distressed floors go well with a vintage, rustic, or comfortable aesthetic— although they can work in virtually any setting. Due to their naturally textured surface, distressed floors also tend to conceal damage well.

    A:  Thank you for your question. All hardwood products are required by the California Air Resource Board to include warnings regarding wood dust and formaldehyde. The Bronze Acacia is both Greenguard and Greenguard Gold certified, the latter of which means the product exceeds any safety standards regarding emissions.

        A:  Thank you for your question. The stair nose for this flooring product uses the model number HL512SNH and the store special order SKU number 1003338369. While it has been discontinued, some stock of it does remain that can be special ordered by your local Home Depot.
