Also, we work hard to maintain consistency in our lumber suppliers so that color will remain consistent from item to item. A:  I have installed the product in two rooms, all four walls. To answer your seam concern, the tongue and groove design eliminates that concern, zero seams show. To answer your question about consistency of stain cover and color, the product consistently absorbs the stain. I have no shading or color difference. As well the other room I painted with latex paint, the paint applied easily and has a 100% consistent color and application. See my finished job. Good Luck with yours, I’m sure you will be pleased.

A:  This sounds like expansion from weather changes. Solid wood will expand and contract across the grain with changes in the weather, especially humidity. You might be able to help it by reinstalling the pieces at the ends of the run, and cutting off about a half inch or 3/4 on the edge that will butt against the wall at each end. You can cover the gap left with quarter round molding, but don't glue it, only use finish nails to allow for the movement. Good luck.

A:  MOISTURE ! It is good quality wood, but Man it is still wood, and at this thickness , you should put it somwhere it is not going to get soaked with moisture or humidity. Now I have this material on a sailing boat , plenty wet , you bet but ; I glued it with epoxe and keep it well varnished, it hold up very well. All is in the preparation man . Keep moisture out of the wood fiber , it holds up like iron, , even on a sailboat ,eh!

A:  Sounds like a humidity issue to me. With the season changes the humidity in your house can change dramatically. Did you allow the product out of package to breath for several days prior to staining and after staining? Buy another pack, let them breath, stain, let them breath, install with sufficient glue or nails.

A:  Hi Bill, thank you for your inquiry. When installing this product you should both glue and nail the product. Depending on moisture content of the room, or many other factors, the adhesive may have failed over time, and this is why they will have fallen away from the wall.
