A:  It will not go out (burn out) for a long time. It is a LED (light emitting diode) with no filament such as a incondescent bulb has. If it does, there was some other technical problem. i. e. Lighting strike, electrical surge etc. The whole fixture has to be replaced.

A:  They WILL NOT work properly with REGULAR in wall dimmers. HOWEVER there is a HALO Home In-wall Accessory Dimmer made specifically for these lights that you can use as a physical in wall dimmer, not requiring the phone app.

A:  You cannot use a standard dimmer, only through the application or a hub. It's the unfortunate result of choosing smart devices; they do the dimming internally.

A:  This Bluetooth light needs at a minimum the HALO HOME APP. The app can change the color from 2700K warm light thru cool white 5000K. Also brightness from OFF, 5% ON thru 100% ON. But I really recommend the HUB for more control. It is worth the cost especially if you expand your lighting project.
