      Q:Will this bed take standard mattresses? Is the trundle taking a standard mattress or is this a bunky board/nonspring form type cot mattress? I am looking to buy to save space in a small bedroom with 3 children. Thanks

      A:  I used a standard 6 inch mattress for the top bunk and trundle; they fit perfectly. I used an 8 inch standard mattress on the middle bunk for additional support.

          A:  The inner size of bunk bed is: 74 " * 39". The inner size of trundle bed is: 72.5 " * 39". Thanks so much!
