Q:Is there a way to lock the four sections of the frame in place so it does not bend if put on top of a sofabed mattress? (we're trying to solve a middle bar problem on the sofabed and will put another mattress on top of your frame).

A:  This foundation does not have enough supports. My wife and I are both under 200 lbs and the mattress sags where there is no support. I know this item is convenient, but don’t buy it for that reason.

    Q:Is the frame easy to disassemble when moving? Are the instructions to take it apart included in the instructions? I had a frame similar to this one and I could never figure out how to fold it up to move it.

    A:  It is easy to fold and move, it has flip locks to secure it, no tools are required. Mike

    A:  Yes it comes with instructions. To take it apart you unzip the fabric cover and it’s made out of 3 parts that are connected by hinged mechanism. You just fold it, it kind of folds by it self.

      Q:Is this noisy? I recently moved in with my parents, and my 2-year old is sharing a room with me. My current bed creaks and when I try to sneak out of bed after putting my son down for bed, he can hear me and wakes up.           A:  Yes! We bought it anyway, so I will answer my own question: This is a very nice foundation except for the little rods on top. The rods are too far apart and the mattress might sag between them - even with the cover on the foundation. It depends on how the bottom of the mattress is made. Our Sleep Number mattress bottom is soft. We fixed this by cutting up the foundation's shipping box and sliding it between the mattress and the foundation - a long strip each for L and R sides.
