A: This recall involves three rock salt lamps sold under the Lumière brand. The lamps are pink in color and are mounted on a wooden base or in a black metal basket. The lamps were sold in black cardboard boxes with a photo of the lamp on the front of the box and the UPC bar code on the bottom of the box.

A: No, there is not a recall on the brand sold by the Home Depot. The ones that were recalled were a different brand and sold by a different company.

A: if you've not had it for awhile, it may take awhile to "adjust" to your environment
if your lamp is near a window, there may be enough air movement so it won't sweat
by|May 5, 2023
A: Hello,
I have no idea if they are supposed to sweat. I would think that the sweat would come from the heat of the lamp. Maybe the lamp does not have enough watage?
In addition, when I purchased it it was very moist in the sealed plastic bag, maybe there is too much airflow around our lamp and it dries the sweat.
We still ove it though!
Sorry I could not help more than that.

A: I do not know enough to answer that question. Mine was damp when it arrived but I wiped it down and I have not noticed any moisture. Sorry to say I did not read all the info that was enclosed. I like the way it looks and I turn it down as a night light each night.

A: I think you have not watered it yet have you? Don't forget to read the instructions and follow them closely, if you do not then it will not operate as intended!

A: no

A: Yes, when I told my grandchildren it was a salt lamp, each one had to take a lick to see. Its just pure-natural salt.

A: You're good to go, Sweetie. Enjoy the ambiance.
by|May 5, 2023
A: This lamp is very heavy and needs to be sitting in stable location. I wouldn't know if it is pet safe or not. It recommends not getting it damp, but is heavy enough I can not imagine a cat knocling it over, which could damage it. It is supposed to give off negative ions and help remove allergens from the air. I have a small dog and she hasn't had any problems with it.

A: Yes. I told my grandchildren it was a salt lamp. So each one had to take a lick to see for themselves. Then I got curios, and had to try it. Tastes just like pure salt, with no side effects :D
by|May 5, 2023
A: It is unless you have it low enough for your pet to urinate on it, then it may not be....
by|May 5, 2023
A: Your good to enjoy the ambiance.
by|May 5, 2023
A: There is a warning on the box that basically says, "Keep out of reach of pets and children". I assume this is because of the weight of the salt lamp and it possibly falling off of a table onto a child or a pet.

A: Yes, it is from Pakistan.
by|Feb 13, 2019
A: Nowhere in packaging or product description does it say these are from Pakistan - if your lamp does not sweat when in use - it is a fake. My two purchases from Home Depot were fakes - - :(
