A:  Answers to other people's weight limit questions say a max of 11lbs, so based on that it would not hold your icemaker.

A:  This is not specifically a TV shelf, and might not give you the space on the edges you would need for a 22" TV.

A:  It might have some real wood in it but it seems to be more of a veneer. It's really lightweight. Don't expect a nice solid piece of wood. It's definitely hollow. For close to $30, I was hoping for higher quality.

A:  No idea, but you should be able to find out online or in your store

A:  The woodridge ones have metal hardware. Those would be better for heavy binders and paper. I bought the 8 in. D x 24 in. L x 1-3/4 in. H White Floating Shelf which had wooden hardware and not as sturdy, but I was putting toilet paper and towels on my shelf for the bathroom.

A:  Not sure what the Manufacturer's specs are for weight capacity, but I find it to be very sturdy, if properly installed. I have a corner unit TV stand and this shelf sits above the TV and hold the Center Speaker of my Surround System, so it has to be both attractive and sturdy. This shelf definitely does the job.
