      Q:The length of my window where I want to use this product is 122 inches. I have this product i.e. 120 inch curtain rod kit. I also have a spare third rod of the same product that I have used for another window where I did not need to use the third rod. So the question is: Is there a way in which I can use that third spare rod and attach it to the 120 inch curtain rod kit?

      A:  I could not find just the end cap for sale. I'd suggest returning the entire rod assembly and replacing with a new assembly.

            Q:Hi, I've purchased the (Home Decorators Collection 66 in. - 120 in. Antique Bronze 3/4 in. Telescoping Curtain Rod Kit with Vintage Ceramic Finial), but I could not figure out how to assemble the 3 rod pieces together, the openings do not fit. How do I assemble it?

            A:  If you're going to use all 3 rods, you'll need to unscrew the finial (aka, end cap/ball) off of the thinner rod and screw it on the end of the other thicker rod. Then the thinner rod is inserted into the ends opposite the finials of both the other rods (acting as a connector for the thicker rods). Minimum length using all 3 rods is 7 feet (84"). I only wanted 75", so I ended up using one thick rod and the thin rod (discarding the 2nd thick rod). I would have preferred having equal thickness on both sides for balance, but unfortunately that isn't an option for me.
