Quilted Mattress Topper features a 1-inch top layer of memory foam quilted into the cover atop a 2-inch base layer of gel-infused memory foam. Infusing gel into the memory foam allows the foam to be more breathable while helping to regulate your body temperature while you sleep by wicking away heat.

      Q:Hi, this item says the cover can be machine washed. But, then, it says not to and only spot clean it. Please verify, as bought it because it had a big box that says the cover is machine washable.

      A:  The cover is attached to the gel pad and cannot be removed.

        A:  Thank you for asking. The machine wash icon will be removed. The factory cleaning instructions are: remove cover and spot clean with mild detergent. Please do not use chlorine bleach. Line dry. Spot clean the foam with mild detergent, rinse, squeeze water out gently. Let air dry away from direct sunlight and heat. If this is an issue then please return the item.           A:  The cover can be washed, but not the foam pad itself. The foam pad can only be spot cleaned. I have used these type products for years and this is true of them all, if they are foam or memory foam .

Remove cover and spot clean with mild detergent. No chlorine bleach. Line dry. Spot clean foam with mild detergent, rinse, squeeze water out gently. Let air dry away from direct sunlight and heat.
