A:  Yes, there is a little bit of sway. There are 6 inch sections you can take out of the rod to shorten the length, which is what we ended up doing.

A:  If you wonder if it swings, no it does not. It’s a straight and firm rod that connects the top base to the fixture holding bulb and lamp.

A:  No, this model does not sway.

A:  Both the down rod and the base plate are threaded. Unless you do not seat the down rod on the base the rod will always be perpendicular to the base, no adjustment, no angle.

A:  Someone installed the light for me but I think it screws in part way only to hold the rod in place.

A:  No there is no single screw. Two screws extend to secure the ceiling plate with screw caps.

A:  Yes once you have the canopy mounted.

A:  Home Depot doesn’t but I’m sure you can go directly through the manufacturer. Usually their info is in the manual.

A:  The answer is NO. I called home depot (800-986-3460) who put me on hold to contact the Manufacturer who said they do not supply spare parts for this including the Glass Shade. Soooo your options are to buy another one for $50. Yay!!!

A:  That's correct. Once installed the mini pendant should stay in place with no spins or turns.

A:  If you tighten it enough when installing it you "should" be okay. Spinning the fixture and unscrewing the down rod would be the only concern.
