Q:The canopy will not fit over the receiver. anyone have this problem
by|Nov 12, 2023
1 Answer
Answer This Question
A: If you are having trouble fitting the receiver, ensure you insert the receiver first before doing any wiring and ensure the flat side is facing up. Do not use the included extension wires if you are using the downrod included with the fan. After completing the wiring connections, tuck as much wiring as possible into the space above the receiver. Anything that can't fit inside the box can be tucked around the sides of the hanger bracket. The canopy has been designed to allow sufficient space for the receiver and wiring. Q:I am replacing two circa 2005 fans that are on the same on/off switch. Can two of these fans be installed on the same switch assuming the wiring is compatible? … Since two remotes are needed, are they programmed for each fan uniquely? Same for the App?
by|Oct 22, 2023
1 Answer
Answer This Question
A: You can install two of these fans on a single on/off switch without issue. The remotes may interfere with each other and control both fans when first installed, but there are instructions in the owner's manual for using the learning mode that will allow you to pair each individual remote to its own fan. For the app, each fan has a unique QR code and internal serial number that will keep them separate so when you set them up on the app they will not interfere with each other.
