A: Thank you for your question, the corded blinds and the cordless blinds do not share the same brackets. You will need to install the brackets included that comes with the cordless version. Note: the brackets are top mounting brackets which connects to the top of the headrail.

Q:I purchased a few of them a few years ago, and intend to buy new ones to replaced the old, worn ones. I've realized that this item is discontinued, and have a hard time finding an exact color match with blinds still manufactured by Home Decorators Collection. Can you provide help on this?

A: 35" wide that's what I put up. Why don't you just go there and find out what they have?

A: Assuming you are measuring the width inside the window frame, buy the 35 inch blind. It will be the right size for inside or can be mounted on the outside top of the window frame for an outside mount. I have these blinds on every window in our home (some had to be custom ordered) and am very pleased with them. Ours are all mounted inside the window frames.

A: If you measured inside the window area and it was 35” all the way down (measure at top, bottom and in the middle because some windows are not perfect due to builders completed work quality) then the 35” will work because it’s actual size is 34.5” so you would have a 1/4” play on each side which would be perfect. :)

A: If you are going to install your blinds on the inside of the window opening, measure top, middle and bottom and then order the smallest of the three. If that's 35", then order it that way. The experts in the Window Shop will take off 1/2" (you'll see this on the order) and you'll be good to go.

A: Order a half of an inch wider. For some reason the actual size is half of an inch smaller than labeled.

A: I rounded up and then had Home Depot cut them to the correct size. So convenient and no additional cost.
