Answer This Question

A:  To fill the reservoir with paint you remove the pad, hold the trigger down, and then pull the plunger back. If you do not hold the trigger down it is next to impossible to pull the plunger back. It does show that in this video, https://www.homedepot.com/p/HomeRight-Quick-Painter-3-in-Pad-Edge-Painter-C800771/202736994#overlay. A:  Yes especially for the ceiling Trim

          by|Aug 25, 2021

A:  Not very well. Better to use a roller with an adjustable handle extension. 3/8 Knapp roller for flat, half inch for textured ceiling. If married use a dropcloth and have a bucket of soapy water handy.

            by|Aug 25, 2021

A:  Yes, if you load the pad with paint, then turn it over to spread the paint on the ceiling edge.

A:  Depends on what kind of stucco. If its a smoother stucco, it would work i think. Worked good on drywall.

A:  The Quick painter would work well on a smooth floor, up against rough stucco.

A:  No the pad is too thin and streaks.

                    by|Dec 12, 2020

A:  Definitely not, smoother the wall the better, also it drips, best to use cutting at ceiling. Still goes on thin unless you want a mess, nothing beats a good brush.

A:  The Quick Painter is a flat pad, meant for small areas of trim edging or touch up. For help choosing the right tool for your project call us first at 1-800-264-5442.

A:  no. it is only useful for jobs where you can APPLY a lot or a long stretch of paint without getting off ladder. then you or 2nd person have to spread, or fine tune the finish before it drips. I prefer the disposable Styrofoam pads. they can be reused by submerging in a bucket of water so they do not dry out, then rinse, dry with cloth and use the next day with the same color paint. need not be totally dry. they only cost a couple bucks.

A:  It works well on the smooth wall up against the popcorn ceiling. It does not do well trying to paint the popcorn. For help choosing the right sprayer for popcorn painting, call us at 1-800-328-8251.

A:  Not effectively. It applies the paint but does not replace the brush. Will deposit a lot on rough surfaces but need some brush work. Maybe good for large job with two persons work together.

A:  You can use the QuickPainter to paint textured siding. However, you might have to make several passes depending on how rough the texture is.
