A: You can place the hooks anywhere on your door as they are not attached to the actual ironing board, Then you just place the board in the hooks so yes it would hang on a cabinet door 16 inches wide.

A: The hooks aren't attached to the board frame. The hooks come with screws to secure them to the door then you hang the board up. I love mine! Easy access by folding down, easy storage by folding up.

A: This comes in 3 pieces. 2 hooks and the ironing board. Place the hooks over the door then hang the ironing board on the hooks. The hooks can be attached to the door with screws or just hang the hooks over the door so you can move the unit to another room (door).
