A:  Nope. I’ve used them like that before no issues.

A:  They are perfectly powered... they are hot, but not hot enough to cause a problem. I sometimes sleep with them inside a glove.

A:  As long as you like. They will provide heat for up to 8 hours. I use them in mittens. They keep my fingers warmer in mittens than when they are in gloves. I use them when bicycling in freezing temperatures and when running my snowblower. I also use adhesive toe warmers from "Hot Hands" on the bottom of my socks to keep my feet warm

A:  Yes, individually sealed. And not only can you use one pair at a time, but since each warmer is individually sealed, you can activate one warmer at a time.

A:  They are in 2 packs and each pair is separated, however if you just want 1 warmer and not a pair, you will need to be careful to only open half of the package.

A:  NO, there are two packs combined so you have to cut them in half and if you accidentally break the seal, you're out of luck

A:  Supposedly, they are not, HOWEVER, I have sealed them in a ziplock snack bag, trying to get all the air out as I sealed. That starves them of oxygen and they will quit giving off heat. Then the next day, open the baggie and shake them and they will start heating again, but as they have been partially used, don't expect a full 8 hours from them is used in that way.

A:  These are not reusable. With that said, I have skied with them in my gloves, taken off my gloves with the packs in them at the end of skiing, took my time getting ready to go out that night, and when I put my gloves back on they were toasty warm. So, they lasted all day. I had to use another pair the next day.

A:  There are 10 packets inside the Value Pack. Each individual packet says "UP TO 10 HOURS OF HEAT." Each of the 10 packets is sealed in the middle and contains 1 single Hand Warmer on each side of the sealed middle. Each side has a little black arrow saying "OPEN HERE / ABRA AQUI." You can tear open one side and just take out one Hand Warmer, OR you can tear open both sides and take out both Hand Warmers. TO ACTIVATE: Hold the Hand Warmer that you have removed from the packet and just SHAKE IT. That is all you need to do. "Warmer heats up in 15-30 minutes." "If heat decreases, expose warmer to air and shake." "After use, dispose with regular garbage." ~~~ I have been using them for years - for skiing, walking the dog, hiking and shovelling the snow. I place one in each glove or mitten - palm side of hand, not back of hand. As an alternative, I've also placed one in each jacket pocket if I'm not wearing gloves. When I go inside, I either leave them in my jacket pocket for later, or I'll take them out and place them in my fleece jacket or sweatshirt pockets. They have lasted 7 to around 10 hours if I shake them if they start to cool off and harden.

A:  "Up to" is such fun wording, isn't it? While I've never timed them, I can say they last all day skiing, or all afternoon and night at a football game and I've never had one "die" on me while I was still using it. I usually throw them on the counter when I get home, and hours later I'm amazed at how HOT they still are. Hope that helps! (My family thinks "HotHands" are the best of the ones we've tried.)
