A:  Each tie-down needs two straps, one with the tie-down mechanism and the other one for the strap that goes into it. The two straps are necessary to make it all work.

A:  YouTube has a number of video's on using a Ratchet Tie Down. I didn't see the Husky used in any of the video's, but they are all very similar.

A:  If you look at the product's photo section you'll see a guide video. The tie-down itself doesn't come with any instructions. It's not obvious.

A:  Pull the strap tight over load then feed through the ratchet slot ratchet until tight

A:  There is a 55 second video with the listing that is about 48 seconds of commercial and the balance in how to use. How generous. However, it takes about 30 minutes to watch the 55 second video as it takes forever to spool up and stops frequently during replay. Save your money.
