A: I did not look the made off I know it from North America
A: Hello, this hose is made in Taiwan.
A: According to an internet search and not on the Home Depot site: "No, the vast majority of Husky tools are not made in the USA today. Most of their products are now manufactured in China and Taiwan, following the trend of many other Home Depot brands and other tool makers. This is extremely disappointing, given their long history of American manufacturing. Husky made the move overseas around the turn of the 21st century."
A: Seriously, I cannot think of a more dangerous thing that you could use this product for. Stick with a hose designed for welding gasses. May be more money, but you will be much less likely to have an accidental explosion, cause injury to yourself and others, or burn your house down.
A: If it fits, there should not be a problem. It is just a hose. Used the appropriate measures though (thread tape/dope - the dope is preferable) and check for leaks at the fitting.
A: No, this is for air tools only. It is not rated for propane use.
A: I woudn't try that unless you check with the manufacturer or maybe a local propane company. better safe than sorry.
A: It is for us with air only.
A: These are designed for compressed air, not propane. You need to use a propane specific hose.
A: No. This is for compressed air. I don’t expect the fittings would be compatible. Also, it could be potentially risky, given it’s not intended for propane, although it would easily handle the pressure.
A: Once.
A: Hello ellis. I’m Chris from the Home Depot’s how-to Community. Thank you for your question. Why not just buy a product made to do what you want? Try searching for 100 341 111 at the top of this product page. That will take you to the Lincoln Inferno propane torch kit. I hope this helps, Chris. .
A: Jordan, yes, the recommended working pressure of this air hose is 300 PSI.
A: Yes. 300PSI
A: I don't believe it is. My use is at 125 to 150psi
A: That is stamped on the hose
A: No it was for a 150 max psi compressor
A: RE, If you are not able to return to Home Depot and you are within the warranty time frame please contact us at tech@plews.com for a replacement hose.
A: If I have ever had problems with any product, I have just returned it to the store with my receipt. Easy as that. If it has been a long time since purchase, check the info on the box.
A: just take it back to HD, but please be reasonable. HD has a good policy on returns.
A: Should work fine if you have the right fittings at each end. Quick connectors might be easier, but either way, your pressure will be fine.
A: I don't own your particular inflator, but I don't see a reason why you couldn't use this. The extra length will add extra volume to the hose, and this means it will take a bit longer for the pressure to come all the way up, but I would think we are only talking a couple of seconds here. Once the hose comes up to pressure, you should have essentially the same inflating performance you do now. (I have 12V inflators I have added 25' extension hoses to with no problem.)
A: Yes it was and works beyond expectations!
A: This hose will work fine with that application.
A: I would not recommend it.
How can we help?
