A: There's no way for me to tell for sure but it feels as if they're solid. It's well made and the drivers aren't "loosey-goosey" in their settings. I would not be embarrassed to give this as a gift and if buying for yourself, know that you'll be getting something that will last a good, long time.

Q:Does this work with Hex Cap Screws size 1.0 x 18?

Answer This Question
A: Your nomenclature / description is not standard. Generally a bolt (hex cap screw?) specified as M6 (diameter) X 1.0 mm (thread pitch) X 18 (length in mm)
I'm guessing you mean a M6 bolt, 1.0 pitch (course thread), 18 mm long...would use a 10mm wrench or socket. Since the 1.0 pitch is a common on 6mm, odd on 8mm and rare on 10mm bolts.
The tool has: 5 mm, 6mm, 8 mm, 9 mm, 10 mm, 12 mm sockets.
In short, the 10mm socket is for 6mm bolts and the 12 mm socket is for 8mm bolts.
Here is a link to a pdf that describes various fasteners:

Hope this helps.

A: Hey Sue,
It would depend on the size of the hex head on the screw. This tool contains 5mm, 6mm, 8mm, 9mm, 10mm and 12mm nut drivers.
Thanks!
