Q:The specifications table for this Bancroft jetted tub lists the "tub width" as 22 inches. Is this accurate? Is it an interior measurement? How does this compare to the actual interior width of the 60" length Kohler alcove-installation Archer jetted tub? Somehow these listed dimensions appear to be inconsistent, so clarification would be helpful. Thank you!

A:  Hi TommyS, my name is Sarah with Kohler Co. I am sorry for any confusion. You are correct, the interior width (at the base of the bath) is 22" wide. This dimension grows to 25" by the top of the bath. Thank you for choosing KOHLER.

A:  Hi, this is Laura with Kohler Co. I am happy to assist you with your question. We do not recommend the use of oils in any whirlpools due to the damage possible to the pump and other components. Please work with your local The Home Depot for pricing and availability on this product. Thank you for choosing KOHLER.

A:  Chandra, I've read too that it's not recommended. Understandable but wanted to express my own opinion & experience. I had a whirlpool tub in the home I lived in for 7 years before I moved. I used bubble bath, epsom salt, and some not particularly oils such as essential oils that I remember, but I did use bath salts in my whirlpool with obviously no problem for 7 years. Might give you a peace of mind. I guess I wouldn't recommended using oils in your tub every time or at least every time you use the jets. Maybe if you want oils added, just soak and not turn on the jets. Idea.
