    Q:In a previous question you answered that the model number is stamped on the inside of the tank. In our case the stamp is not readable. I need to replace a broken seat on a black elongated Kohler toilet and cannot figure out the model number.

        Q:How can I find out the model number or name of a Kohler toilet bowl already installed? I'm looking for a proper seat that would replace one, that was made by another manufacturer which does not quite fit width wise. Its about 1/2 inch off.
