A:  That tool bag is a electrician bag it’s meant to be used as a backpack when climbing poles or lifts. Not for general construction.

A:  Klein does make a rolling tech tool bag; the backpack is designed for field techs like me who have to park their vans in the city and walk to the job site.

A:  Valid question NeedsLuggageSleeve. As we all know everyone is in the tool bag marked these days. You can find everything and anything you could ever imagine. Tools bags with specialized compartments for specialty tools like HVAC gauges or computers or tablets etc. All those extra compartments are great for fitting what you need. However, the more you pack in there the heavier the bag gets. And when this Klein tool bag/backpack was designed it was made with the idea of less is more. Giving you just enough compartments to fit most all your tools while keeping the overall weight of the bag as light as possible. If the designers had included the added luggage sleeve/handle and rollers it would add some weight. And when the product designers asked the tradesmen out in the field of that was an absolute necessity it was an overwhelming response of do without.

A:  No room for a hard hat, even without tools its just not big enough.

A:  If you are doing electrical, yes, i am doing electrical/ mechanical so it is a bit tight

A:  No you can't fit your hard hat inside. You might be able to put it on the side of the bag, but i usually have rolls of tape on that side.

A:  Zipper size is very small but you could use a flex shackle lock and it will work. I use a small brinks flex shackle lock.

A:  Don't know weight limit but I routinely have about 60 lbs in it and use it five days a week. I have had it several months and not a single problem. Zippers still work and no visible signs of stitching coming apart or tearing. I am starting to notice several of them showing up at job sites and haven't seen a single one fail. I know it is somewhat expensive but seems to actually be made to do what it claims.

A:  idk if it is supposed to stand up but occasionally mine falls over too

A:  Yes if the tools are installed correctly it stands up with no problem

A:  I have had two and they all will fall over after you in zip them. And the zipper will break. Home Depot will give you a new one .

A:  I had to call Klein in the Home Depot store to get them to honor it, then the manager took me to the isle and nope we don't carry that bag. I had another sale associate search for me as if I was paying for the bag and he found it with a ladder up top, to omit up front and got it exchanged. Klein Tools stand behind their products and it's great!

A:  Yes I believe they do. I've never had a problem returning a problem item at any HD when I keep my receipt.
