A: On internal side of the lock there is a cover (held by 2 screws) which opens battery slot ( 4 X AA ).

A: Remove the cover on the inside of the door, using the allen head tool provided with the lock to remove the 2 screws. Slide the battery pack up and out. Replace the alkaline batteries and reinstall. Simple.

A: Remove the screws from the side of the inside cover and slide the cover up and off. Pull out the battery case and replace the 4 AA batteries with fresh alkaline batteries. Replace the battery case then put the cover back on. Screws optional.

A: It will stay unlocked unless you press the lock button from the outside, or lock from the inside. If you lock from inside, you will need to press code to unlock, then it will remain unlocked until lock mechanism is engaged.

A: This requires a 6 Volt dc, (4-1.5v batteries) I am not an electrician, this may sound a bit extreme, you'll need a lot of extra work which is not cost effective.

A: No. That's why they call it AUTO LOCK. You'll just have to turn Auto Lock off OR use your key?
