      Q:Instead of draining the tank manually , can my plumber connect the unit to the plumbing pipes that lead to the septic tank? Does it come with its own hose so he can make the connection as we do with a dehumidifier?

      A:  Hey there. Installing this LG portable A/C to a septic tank seems ideal. However, it is not designed to be connected directly to plumbing pipes for drainage. It is recommended to follow the drainage instructions in the manual. This A/C is not compatible with connecting it to a plumbing pipe or recommended. Regrettably, there is no way of determining how often the LG 10,000 BTU DUAL Inverter Smart Wi-Fi Portable Air Conditioner, Model # LP1419IVSM, will need to be drained if it is only run in Cooling mode. That is dependent on how humid your environment is on any given day. When the internal water collection tank is full, the LED display will show FL, and the air conditioner will turn off until the tank is emptied...^Ivan.
