A:  Hi! We understand you're dryer is shutting off prematurely and would be happy to help. So that we can, we'd need more information. Does your unit power back on after an abnormal shutdown? First, please check if your unit is securely plugged into your power outlet. Moreover, this issue may happen when the sensor is unable to detect a load. Are you getting any error codes? Residue on the sensors may prevent the unit from detecting a load and will cause the cycle to end early. This issue may require the help of a technician to resolve. If your unit does not power back on after an abnormal shutdown, please try performing a hard reset. Unplug your dryer, press and hold the START/PAUSE button for 5 seconds, then hold down the PLAY/PAUSE button for 5 seconds. Plug the unit back in and check if the drum light and the unit come back ON. Should your dryer not power back on, it may require service. The dryer is still functional without being connected to your cold water supply line, you just will not have the steam cycles...^Ivan

A:  The ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 7.4 cu. ft. Ultra Large Capacity Smart Wi-Fi Enabled SteamDryer™, Model # DLEX3700V comes with a long and short inlet hose and a "Y" connector that allows you to split the cold water supply line to your washer and to the water inlet valve on the dryer to supply water for the steam functions on the dryer. LG only makes replacement inlet hoses for the ones that come as included accessories with the dryer and we do not make longer inlet hoses. If you are looking for longer inlet hoses, you will need to purchase third-party inlet hoses and you will need to search online to see if third-party manufacturers offer inlet hoses longer than 6 feet. Regrettably, the U.S. will not have information for retailers in Ontario that sell inlet hoses...^IFV
