Q:Hi! I live in an apartment that does not have washer dryer hook ups or the special plug dryers typically use. Will I be able to use this unit? Where does it need to be placed? Can I place it in my bathroom to drain in the tub and connect hoses to sink?

A:  Hi there, Ericalynn; we know how tight spaces can be awkward. However, Yes you can use this unit in the bathroom and connect the hoses to the sink, also you can drain into the tub. This may take a little creativity, but we know you've got this one figured out. ~Tanisha

A:  The dryer drain hose is 6 feet long and exits from about 32 inches from the floor. The washer hose exits from near floor, on the left (when facing the rear) side. If all routing straps are disconnected, can reach that long too. 24" min drain height.

A:  Thank you for your interest in the LG WashTower™ (WKHC202HBA) model. The LG WKHC202HBA washer and dryer unit comes with drain hoses that are typically long enough for standard installations. However, standard washing machine drain hoses are often around 5 to 8 feet long, which should be sufficient for most installations. It is possible to purchase longer washing machine drain hoses separately. Q:Do I need to separately purchase a 220 power cord for the dryer? From what I have read it seems that I do. Seems odd that it wouldn't come equipped with a way to plug it into the power outlet.

A:  The washing machine portion comes with a standard grounded 120vac cord. The dryer does portion does not come with a power cord. The appropriate 3 or 4 prong 240VAC plug for your outlet must be supplied and correctly hooked up.

Q:I saw in the Q&A that washer inlet/outlet hoses must be purchased separately. Is there a hose included with the machine for the dryer condensation discharge from the dryer drain outlet or does that also need to be purchased separately?

A:  Hey there, thanks for reaching out to us. Unfortunately, we don't have a hose specifically designed for draining condensed water. Our appliance actually takes care of cleaning the lint from the condenser by using water that is condensed during the drying process. Let us know if you have any other questions! ^Anthony
