A: Yes. You cannot apply the product if there is a frost in the ground. Moisture will prevent the product from bonding.

A: I would say no but the better your torch the better the melt. In Texas it will never get too cold. I did it on a 40 degree cloudy day in MN.

Answer This Question
A: It is hard
by|Jul 28, 2021
A: It is about as soft and flexible as the product is before installation. A little harder than silicon sealants. It gives a little when pressed on but then returns. Assuming that the area around it is properly cleaned, it holds very tightly to the surrounding material.

A: Sorry but a lighter will not provide enough heat to melt this product. You will need to use a torch.

A: Needs more heat than a household lighter.
by|May 17, 2021
A: It takes a fair bit of heat to melt it. If you wanted to fill a spot as big as a quarter you might melt it with a lighter but then you would probably be out of gas.

A: The lighter will not be enough.
