A: Refrigerators draw a lot of current but this 'cube tap' is rated high enough to handle all but the largest unit. Check the amps of the refrigerator against the rating molded into the 'cube tap'. I use this 'cube tap' on my refrigerator; if you plug the refrigerator in the side of the 'cube tap' you can push the refrigerator all the way back without pinching the cord.
