    A:  Ketogal, Thank you for your question on the Liberty 6 in. Nickel Steel U-Shaped Decorative Shelf Bracket (2-Pack). The brackets have not been tested for contact with water, so therefore, as the manufacturer, we cannot recommend putting hand towels that have been used for drying on them. Best, Customer Care Team
