        A:  Thank you for question- Vapor Barrier (6 mil polyfilm) Not Required. Recommended in basements with concrete if prone to moisture or if there have been moisture issues. The Calfloor vapor block 6 mil virgin polyethylene film would be approved.

            Q:I have to replace a large area of this flooring in my kitchen. My insurance adjuster/contractor are saying if I order to replace it, it won't look the same because it will be a different dye lot. Is this an issue for this type of flooring?

            A:  Thank you for your question- Minor shade variations within the same run number and/or between run numbers contribute to the natural look of Lifeproo. To minimize noticeable shade variation, randomly pull planks from three different cartons to ensure good color and shade mixture. If you have multiple run numbers, ensure the mixture captures planks from across run numbers.

              A:  Thank you for your question- The 6 & 22 mil wear layer are 7.0mm in thickness. The difference is the wear layer of each one. Any other Lifeproof product that has a 6-mil wear layer should be compatible.

                    Q:Can polyvinyl or vinyl floor/exercise mats be used on top of LifeProof luxury vinyl plank flooring? Have read to avoid rubber products but have not seen anything about these other materials and whether they would cause any damage to the flooring.

                    A:  Thanks for your question. Rubber and latex are the only things that should not be used on the floor. There are compounds in them that will permanently discolor the wear layer of the planks. PVC and vinyl haven't been seen to cause any issue.
