A: They don't stay up as it is. Bought gobs of them and put them under kitchen cabinets, etc. until they began falling down and breaking things on the counter. I would guess that if they did this in ideal conditions that they would not be effective in dampish ones. I have so many here in a box that did not fit into my plans after all. It is not the stick 'um as often as the pieces separate, even if you carefully only touch the button directly and have them turned into the tabs correctly. They fall off sometime later. It can make a very unsettling noise in the middle of the night.
