A:  Sounds defective to me, but I am no electrician. I have installed 3 of these so far and I haven't had that experience on any of them.

We always suggest making sure your LED has been tested and approved by Lutron to provide the best dimming performance with your dimmer. There is currently no industry standard in LED manufacturing; since not all LEDs are designed the same, performance will vary with different dimmers. A:  This is a capacitive touch device, similar to smart phones, tablets or other mobile devices, and will have a similar performance regarding wet hands. Performance may be effected if your hands are excessively wet but should still operate reliably if some moisture is present.

A:  Yes you can. 

A:  Yes. Depends on your recessed lighting. If they are smart lights, then no if they are conventional.LED and not ‘smart’. Then yes. 

A:  Yes, we have used them for several recessed lights. You can’t use them for fans.

A:  It does keep previous setting when turned off/on. It is not programmable, just a touch on the light bar to adjust light dimming. It is really just a nicely updated Diva.

The Sunnata LED+ Touch Dimmer will have preset last-known light level functionality, but can also be programmed for a fixed preset level, so either option is available.
