A:  Looks that there is only 24" long towel bar available.

A:  I only saw the 18" and 24" lengths in the Ashville line when I searched for ours. Moen does make a few 30" towel bars in different styles though...

A:  Hello Grant. Thank you so much for your interest in Moen products. The Moen Ashville collection does not have a 30” towel bar. There is a 24” DN7924BN or 18” DN7918BN. We make 30” bars separately. If you purchase the 18” towel bar kit you may purchase a 30” bar DN9830BN and use the post from the kit with the 30” bar. A:  Yes, but the tile should be reinforced on the backside with either a stud or a backer board. The holes for mounting should be pre-drilled.

If you would like to install the product on tile you will need to purchase the correct hardware for tile to insure your tile does not break. A:  Hi Sally, yes both of these products can be installed on a title wall. You will use plastic anchors to accomplish this.

A:  Yes, I have it installed on tile wall. You just need to get drill bit for appropriate kind of tile and then after drilling holes installing is pretty much simple.

A:  Yes. I installed mine on a tile wall in about 20 minutes. Just be sure to use a tile-glass bit to drill the holes in the tile and don't over tighten the screws which hold the mount brackets onto the tile. You could crack your wall tile...

A:  Hello Amie and thank you for your interest in Moen products. The Moen Cabrina pivoting paper holder, model number DN8508BN, has a 7” center to center measurement between mounting posts. A:  Not sure. The Ashville measures approx. 6 & 11/16" center to center. The back plate does measure approx. 2 & 3/16" across, so that does give you quite a bit of wiggle room to move your mounting holes. The chance that you'll find anything with identical mounting holes, that's not the exact same fixture, is pretty slim...

A:  I just measured my holder and from center to center of post it measures 7", so you should be fine. Even if your holes would be slightly off, the bottom of post which covers holes on the wall measures 2.5 inch dia., wide enough to cover some extra holes around. The only question is, how is mounted your existing holder, whether mounting screws are vertically or horizontally oriented.

A:  Savannah and MeCzech. No, it is NOT 7" from center to center. If you install it that way, the bar will miss the post. The installation instruction say it is 6.65" and the Moen guy says it is 6.68". I don't understand why they didn't give the measurement in fractions of an inch.

A:  This should do perfectly for you, as it is 7" from center to center.

A:  Approximately 6 &11/16".
