A:  Hi Kmarqiez, It sounds like you have 2-10ft chain link gates that you want to open together. If this is the case, you would need the HD272. This opener handles gates up to 12ft in length and up to 300 lbs. The dual kit will provide you with the correct wire length you need for both arms and one control box. A:  Hi Dominic, no, it would be unwise to run a 120v direct to the operator. It's a "DC" motor, therefore we have to run it off the 12v DC battery. The battery sends DC voltage to the motor that drives the gate. The amp breaker should be a standard house 120v circuit which will allow 15 and 20 amp current. Most common is 20 amps. A:  Yes, you can use the Mighty Mule Battery FM150 or any marine battery. This larger battery will give you more power and last longer. We do suggest putting the battery in a weatherproof box if sitting on the ground. Thank you

A:  With my gate the battery worked for a while but in a year I had to change it twice so to keep it working I changed it to a deep cell battery with a triple charger and it lasted for over two years with no problems
