A: Hi tstyles! Our M12 FUEL Bandsaw has a variable speed trigger. We suggest to use slower speed when cutting large pipe as it helps with the quality of cut. For those materials it wouldn’t hurt to slow it down with the Unistrut or angle iron to increase the cut quality but should not affect with threaded rod.

A: You can cut at any speed, 3/8 1/4 1/2 sizes for a saw is not a problem, other types of metals need to be selected individually, since all metals have different alloys, therefore I recommend at low speed, I wish you good luck -

A: Yes you should slow it down. Also, might have to put some cooling oil on it or stop a couple times. So the blade can cool down. Don’t put a lot of pressure on piece. Let the tool work for itself. Be careful

A: If you go to the Home Depot website, you can enter your email address, and they will automatically notify you as soon as the blades are available in your store location. I use this feature quite often and I'm very satisfied with it.
